Part-time Deputy Registrar-Bath County
The Part‑Time Deputy Registrar supports the General Registrar/Director of Elections with voter registration, election preparation, and public education on election processes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily office tasks, preparing educational materials, and providing customer service to the public.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); social media skills preferred
- Must be a registered Virginia voter with a Virginia driver’s license
- Must pass a background check
Hours:
Minimum of 16 hours per week, with additional days, evenings, weekends, and holiday hours during election periods. Some travel to precincts sites and training is required.
