Bath County operates and maintains the Animal Shelter which is located in Hot Springs. Bath County Sheriff's Department operates Animal Control. Officers respond to animal control related issues and enforce all laws for the protection of domestic animals. The shelter operates Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. during which animals may be reclaimed or adopted.
